The Division of Internal Medicine is home to more than 40 full, part-time and volunteer faculty members with expertise in patient care, teaching and research. The physicians deliver both primary and specialized clinical care. The Division has multiple practice sites in Philadelphia and New Jersey. The main responsibilities of the Division of Internal Medicine are to provide state of the art medical care to patients in the outpatient primary care setting.
Areas of clinical expertise include internal and preventive medicine, sickle cell disease, preventative health care, weight management and care to the Korean community. Specific areas of research interest include sickle cell disease, gastrointestinal cancer syndromes, quality of care, outcome research and cost effectiveness.
