Student Research Awards

The Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC) presents Student Research Awards each year. If you participated in research as a medical student at SKMC, consider submitting your name for an award.

The Hyman Menduke Research Award (est. 1980) is sponsored by Dr. Michael Le Witt of the Class of 1974 in honor of Hyman Menduke, PhD, who was Director of Sponsored Programs at SKMC. It is presented during the Class Day ceremony to one graduating MD student and one graduating MD/PhD student who have demonstrated excellence in research while at SKMC and includes a monetary award.
