Rosemary Kennedy, MBA, RN, FAAN, Associate Professor at Jefferson School of Nursing, published “Care Coordination: A National Priority” in Improvement Science Research Network in Winter 2011, Page 2-3.

Mary Lou Manning, PhD, CRNP, CIC Associate Professor and Director, Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at Jefferson School of Nursing, published “Expanding Infection Preventionists’ influence in the 21st century: Looking back to move forward” in the American Journal of Infection Control, 38:10, 778-783 in 2010.

Miriam Bermudez, MSN, RN and Instructor at the Jefferson School of Nursing, has been appointed Project Director for HRSA’s Project Consult from July 2010- June 2013. The grant from HRSA provides $394,000 in annual funding. The project focuses on academic support for English as a second language undergraduate nursing students and for those from an underrepresented minority (URM)group. This is the 5th successful year of the project, bringing down JSN attrition rate and has increasing students’ success with the NCLEX.

Theresa Pluth Yeo, PhD, MPH, AOCNP, Associate Professor and Coordinator, Adult Oncology Program at the Jefferson School of Nursing, co-authored “Oncology Nursing: Educating Advanced Practice Nurses To Provide Culturally Competent Care” with Jefferson’s Anne Delengowski, MSN, AOCN. Other co-authors are Margaret Griffith, MSN, AOCN (Penn), Larry Purnell, PhD, RN, FAAN (U Delaware) and Janice Phillips, PhD, RN, FAAN (U Chicago). It was published in Journal of Professional Nursing in July, 2011.
