Dr. William Sexauer has joined the division of pumonary & critical care medicine at Thomas Jefferson University
I am delighted to announce that Dr. William (Bill) Sexauer has joined the pulmonary and critical care division here at Thomas Jefferson University and will be the director of critical care at Methodist. Bill completed medical school at UMDNJ and residency at MCP, and fellowship at Temple.
Bill was on full-time faculty at MCP Hahnemann for 18 years. For the last five years he has been at Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine in New Jersey. Bill has played a variety of leadership roles including medical director of the PFT lab at MCP, director of the adult cystic fibrosis program, fellowship director at RWJMS, and most recently MICU director Princeton, NJ. Bill is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary & critical care (re-certified in 2010).
Bill has joined TJU as a professor of medicine and director of critical care at the Methodist Hospital. Bill will focus on further developing the intensivist program at Methodist by partnering with a variety of phyicians. He will have clinical, educational, and administrative responsibilites. He will actively participate in our residency programs and the pulm/ccm fellowship program.
Bill has a wife and 2 adult children and lives in Cherry Hill, NJ. Please reach out to Bill and welcome him to our group.
