The Division Opens a New Pulmonary Function Laboratory

I wanted to bring to your attention the establishment of a new Pulmonary Function Laboratory located in the Walnut Towers building adjacent to the JPA pulmonary physicians’ offices. This new ambulatory PFT Lab service is equipped with state-of-the-art CareFusion equipment and an experienced respiratory therapist with registry level credentials in pulmonary diagnostic testing. The ambulatory PFT lab is fully integrated with TJUH’s PFT system and to Jeff Chart. Patient PFT records can be accessed within both systems which allows for convenient trending of PFT data. The results are interpreted by the same board certified pulmonologists and easily accessed in the results section of the Jeff Chart.

The Walnut Towers PFT Lab will provide your patients’ with the convenience of an attached parking garage as well as being in the same building as the Jefferson Imaging Services (including chest CT scanner), The Jefferson Sleep Lab, and The Jefferson Pulmonary/Rheumatology/Endocrinology clinics.
