Medical Dosimetry Students Score High

One hundred percent of the 2010 Medical Dosimetry graduates (Department of Radiologic Sciences) passed the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board of Directors (MDCB) exam in September 2011. The national pass rate was 52%.

Program director Shirley Johnston, MS, RT(R)(T)CMD, says, “Our students work so hard in their classes and clinical rotation and we have an incredible community of professionals who mentor them. They are all currently employed throughout the Unites States. I know they will continue to succeed in the profession.”
Over the past 5 years, Jefferson Medical Dosimetry graduates have had an overall pass rate of 94% on the MDCB certification exam.
