Congratulations on Recent Fellowship Awards

Erik Blomain (MD/PhD 5, Cell & Developmental Biology, Dr. Waldman) was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Fellowship from the National Cancer Institute, NIH,  for his project, "GUCY2C Hormone Suppression Links Obesity with Colorectal Cancer". 

David Hoang (MD/PhD 6, Molecular Pharmacology & Structural Biology, Dr. Nevalainen) was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Fellowship from the National Cancer Institute, NIH,  for his project, "Stat5 Acts Independently of Androgen Receptor to Drive Advanced Prostate Cancer". 

Gilbert Kim (MD/PhD 6, Molecular Pharmacology & Structural Biology, Dr. Waldman) was awarded a PhRMA Foundation Fellowship Award for his project, "Targeting the GCC Endocrine Axis to Reduce Appetite in Obesity".

Tara Retson (MD/PhD 6, Neuroscience, Dr. VanBockstaele) was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Fellowship from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, NIH, for her project, "Alcohol-Induced Effects on Stress-Related Circuitry".

Jonathan Hullmann (MD/PhD 6, Molecular Pharmacology & Structural Biology, Dr. Koch) was awarded a GRA Winter 2012 Predoctoral Fellowship from the American Heart Association for his project, "Novel Role for GRK5 in Cardiac NFAT Signaling".

Linh Vu (MD/PhD 5, Genetics, Genomics & Cancer Biology, Dr. Aplin) was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Fellowship from the National Cancer Institute, NIH, for her project, "Identifying Novel Therapeutic Strategies in Mutant NRAS Melanoma".
