Fox Presented at Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education Symposium

Traci B. Fox, MS, RT(R), RDMS, RVT, Clinical Coordinator of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in the Department of Radiologic Sciences at Jefferson School of Health Professions at Thomas Jefferson University, presented a paper at the 15th Annual Society for Information in Technology Education (SITE) meeting in New Orleans, La. on March 26, 2013.

The presentation was initiated by Joyce Pittman, EdD, a program director for the educational doctoral program that Fox is enrolled in at Drexel University. Dr. Pittman proposed a symposium on the topic of New Paradigms for Research Innovation in Hybrid Graduate Education Environments to SITE. The proposal was accepted by a rigorous blind review as an Invited Symposium. Fox and her peers in the Educational Leadership and Management program were invited to submit their papers for scholar review to be presented in the symposium and also published in an international EdIT Digital Library and Proceedings.

Fox’s paper is titled “Examining Faculty Pedagogical Practices and Perceptions About Integrating Emerging Technologies to Transform Learning Environments in Health Professions Programs.” After presenting her research, she received valuable feedback which will expand her research and practice.
