Jefferson School of Health Professions (JSHP) celebrated Health Professions Week November 2 through 6, with a community service project and faculty, staff, and student appreciation activities.
Here’s an overview of the events:
Philabundance Food Drive. JSHP community members donated six boxes of food totaling 114 pounds to Philabundance, the region’s largest hunger relief organization.
Student Appreciation Lunch. More than 100 students, faculty and staff enjoyed a Middle Eastern feast of falafel, chicken wraps and soft drinks catered by a local restaurant.
Coffee Break. In appreciation of faculty and staff’s contribution to JSHP, Dean Janice Burke distributed coffee mugs with a thank you poem and a Starbucks gift card.
