Jesse Hunting has spent most of his career working in construction management, lending, and real estate development. He is the Vice President of Finance and Real Estate with Norris Square Community Alliance, a mission-driven community development corporation located in the Norris Square section of North Philadelphia. He was previously Director of Finance and Development at Shift Capital, which is a Philadelphia based real estate development group committed to building just neighborhoods. At Shift Capital, he wore many hats and was closely involved with project underwriting, financing, stabilized property management, and acquisitions and dispositions.

Previously, he worked at the Reinvestment Fund as a Senior Portfolio Manager and shared management of a $964MM commercial loan portfolio. While there, he worked to identify and support struggling borrowers, ensure borrower compliance, and underwrite housing, energy, and educational projects. Prior to Reinvestment Fund, he facilitated residential and commercial energy efficiency building upgrades through utility and state sponsored incentive programs.

He holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Penn State and a Master in City Planning degree with a focus in city design and development from MIT. Jesse lives in Philadelphia’s Wissahickon neighborhood with his wife and two young daughters.
