About the Course
This introductory course, Intro to the Quadruple Bottom Line of Real Estate Development, offers a deep dive into our quadruple bottom line ethos of people, planet, profit, and placemaking. You start the course by learning the eight stages of the sustainable real estate development process. Each week participants dive into the components of people, planet, profit, and placemaking. To complete the course participants must complete weekly quizzes. Participants that want to be considered for the $2,500 scholarship will submit a development case study at the completion of the course.
You will learn in a very similar way as our graduate level, for-credit courses are taught in our real estate development program. Short weekly readings, live and recorded lectures, and weekly quizzes are provided. Participants will also engage with each other through an online discussion board.
This course is designed as a valuable standalone course to refresh your career, or as the beginning of your journey in sustainable real estate development. The course is open and available to everyone. Participants that complete the entire 6-week course will receive a Course Certificate.
