How do I sign-up for the course?

Click here to register for the course.

  • You will receive an invitation to set up a free Canvas account, which will give you access to the course materials.
  • You will also eceive an email to sign up for a free 12 week license to use Sketch-Up and Sefaira Software offered by Trimble.

Yes, you do not need be trained as a designer or architect to participate. Keep in mind that the course is designed for people who already have some experience in design, so the assignments may take longer than it would for more experienced students

 The class will have one live check-in meeting per week. That meeting will also be recorded and posted for everyone to watch. Weekly recorded lectures will also be posted.

 Jefferson is not offering college credit for this course.  

Yes, you will receive an 8-1/2” x 11 PDF certificate of completion. You will also receive at least three digital badges that can be used on LinkedIn.

Yes, you can receive up to 10 HSW credits for the course.

Yes, if you successfully complete the first two modules on schedule, you will qualify for at least one live or recorded desk crit for each week that you continue to participate in the course. The desk crit may come from Rob Fleming or others who are co-teaching the course.

The course will be hosted on the Canvas platform and once registered you will receive login information to obtain the course materials.

This course will use Trimble’s SketchUp and Sefaira software. All students enrolled in the course will receive a twelve week license for both programs from Trimble.  Students will receive log-in information once they enroll in the course. Students must also have access to Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.

Only individuals may join this course.

That is okay, but you will be responsible to make up the work and maintain progress in the course.
