The Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management Information Systems (BS-HSMIS) prepares individuals for entry-level management in a wide variety of healthcare settings. Managers within these organizations plan, organize, coordinate and supervise the delivery of healthcare services.

They may be generalists who administer, manage or help to manage entire facilities or systems, or specialists who manage clinical departments or services specific to the healthcare industry.

All healthcare managers deal with:

  • Finances
  • Budgets
  • Personnel
  • Computer systems
  • Laws and legal requirements
