JCN Faculty Team Selected for 2019-2020 NCI-Sponsored IPEX Program

Jefferson College of Nursing faculty members Clara Granda-Cameron, DrNP, MSN, ANP-BC, AOCN and Jeannette Kates, PhD, MSN, CRNP, GNP-BC were among a team of interprofessional Thomas Jefferson University faculty selected for the National Cancer Institute sponsored IPEX Program (Interprofessional Education Exchange).  The other Jefferson team members are: 

Emily Hajjar, PharmD, MS, BCPS, BCACP, BCGP (College of Pharmacy)
John Liantonio, MD (Sidney Kimmel Medical College)
Christine Kennedy, PhD, M.Div., LPC, ACS (Community and Trauma Counseling-East Falls)

The IPEX program will consist of four one-year cycles, helping 160 faculty across the country prepare to develop, implement and evaluate interprofessional education in palliative care.  The program will include online modules, webinars, conference calls, a 2.5 day train-the-trainer hands-on workshop, mentoring, and networking with others across the country.
