Jefferson College of Population Health (JCPH) and Safe & Reliable Healthcare are partnering to offer an innovative educational program for current and emerging healthcare leaders aimed at equipping the workforce with key skills connected to the science and practice of High Reliability.
The "High Reliability Healthcare Academy" is a specialized, 13-week live and interactive virtual training program that will guide participants through an in-depth examination of the framework, strategies and tactics to achieve High Reliability. Participants will spend approximately 4 hours per week on the program, including the online sessions, team planning time, and asynchronous learning.
"We are very excited to offer the High Reliability Healthcare Academy through our partnership with Safe and Reliable Healthcare," states Mary Reich Cooper, MD, Healthcare Quality & Safety Program Director at JCPH. Dr. Cooper explains, "Dealing with the impact of the pandemic has underscored the need for today's healthcare professionals to understand high reliability science. Organizations that adopted high reliability principles to manage the crisis have been able to provide excellent care while supporting their clinical workforce."
The High Reliability Healthcare Academy begins March 22 and runs through June 25.
