Alexander Litvintchouk, PharmD, MMS

Health Economics & Outcomes Research Fellow

Alex joined the JCPH team as a Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) fellow after receiving his PharmD from the University of Florida (UF) in 2022. Prior to his PharmD program, Alex attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his MS in Medical Science and the University of Florida where he received his BS in Biology.

Alex is currently spending the first year of the Fellowship where he assists with outcomes research projects while earning his master’s in Applied Health Economics and Outcomes Research. For the second year of the Fellowship, Alex will transition to his sponsor company, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, where he will join their Global Market Access team.

Alex’s passion for research and data analyzation, improvement of public health outcomes, and patient-driven health access cultivated his interest in health economics and outcomes research. Prior to joining Jefferson, Alex was first introduced to HEOR by UF Health staff, where he analyzed diagnosis codes provided by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to convey the cost benefit that addiction counseling services would have in the state of Florida. Alex has also been a part of the IGNITE consortium team, a network of multi-site clinical groups that aim to implement the use of genomic medicine into clinical practice. Additional experiences include a data-driven project on Homologous Recombination and Leiomyosarcomas, chair of Generation Rx to improve drug safety, and experiential work leading to a Certificate in Personalized Medicine though UF.

Through the JCPH Fellowship, Alex hopes to strengthen his knowledge in HEOR and to improve patient access to safe and effective therapies.
