BIOGRAPHY

Ms. Melissa Fogg holds a masters degree in Social Work from Rutgers University with a specialization in violence against women and children. Ms. Fogg currently works with Mural Arts Philadelphia's Porch Light Program on programming examining creative strategies around behavioral health and is co-founder of Southeast by Southeast, an arts and wellness center for migrant families in South Philadelphia. Her previous work experience concentrated on refugee mental health and women’s health with the International Rescue Committee, Amnesty International, and Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Fogg’s work in creating welcoming multidisciplinary "hub" spaces for refugee families has been profiled nationally as an innovative, multidisciplinary, and wellness-based model for behavioral health care.
