Dr. Walsh is internationally recognized as an accomplished author and lecturer on upper extremity topics including complex regional pain syndrome, peripheral nerve injuries, and nerve mobilization. He served as a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Hand Therapy, the Board of Directors for the Hand Rehabilitation Foundation, and in many volunteer roles within the ASHT.  Dr. Walsh has published in the Journal of Hand Therapy and Rehabilitation of the Hand and Upper Extremity (editions 4- 6) and is working on book chapters for the 7th edition. He has been a faculty member at the Philadelphia Hand Meeting for over 25 years and was recognized as an honored professor in 2004. Dr. Walsh provides instruction primarily in the nerve course, but assists with learning activities in all courses.

Other qualified instructors with unique knowledge areas will be participating in the courses over the year, but the specifics are not available for the first iteration of this document.  Additional information will be provided in the course syllabi as we move through the first year of the program at Jefferson.
