FEBRUARY 28, 2024 - On campus interview at Sidney Kimmel Medical College located 1015 Walnut Street, Philadelphia PA
APRIL 2024 - Students notified of acceptance
(Accepted students will have two weeks to respond and conditionally accept)
DECEMBER 2025 - Complete AMCAS application
JULY 2026 - Two-week preparatory program. Students are offered a virtual mini-course to prepare them for medical school.
JULY 2026 - Matriculate at SKMC
Prerequisites
- General Chemistry*: CHM 201 (or 207) and CHM 202 or CHM 215 (if AP 1 Unit)
- General Biology*: EEB 211 and MOL 214
- 3.4 GPA
* Or equivalent upper level courses
Prior to applying to the Jefferson IDeA Scholars Program, applicants will have completed
- one course in calculus or biostatistics if AP credit has been given for calculus
- one course in biology with lab
- one course in chemistry with lab, at a level appropriate for premedical preparation.
Prior to Matriculation to SKMC Jefferson IDeA Scholars must complete
- one (1) course in organic chemistry
- one (1) course in biochemistry or molecular biology.
- Acceptable courses will be chosen in consultation with and with the approval of the Princeton University Office of Health Professions Advising.
