Crystal D. Reed, MD '89, graduated from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and is board-certified in Radiation Oncology from the American Board of Radiology. She completed an internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center and a residency in Radiation Oncology at Albert Einstein Medical Center, both in Philadelphia, Pa.

After completing her residency, Dr. Reed moved to Indiana where she practiced at Welborn Clinic and Therapy Associates. She is semi-retired from clinical practice at the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Ind. She is a member of the American College of Radiation Oncology, the American College of Radiology, and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

Prior to attending Jefferson, Dr. Reed earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology at Temple University and a Master of Science degree in Biology at Villanova University. She has two children, twins: Alexis, a sophomore at Savannah College of Art & Design, and Grant, a sophomore at Purdue. She is a Master Gardener and a grandmother to four boys from her stepdaughters.
