Student International Travel Registry

Thomas Jefferson University students are encouraged to participate in an international education, research, or service experience. These Global Enrichment Opportunities expand knowledge and enhance cultural awareness.

Students traveling internationally are REQUIRED to complete a Travel Registration under any of the following conditions:

  • Travel is funded in any part by Jefferson grants, awards, or stipends
  • Travel is sponsored, connected or affiliated with a Jefferson Program, Faculty, or Staff member
  • Travel is connected to an international partner
  • Travel will result in any academic credit towards a Jefferson degree
  • Travel is connected with a student organization associated with Jefferson
  • Student is representing Jefferson in any capacity

East Falls Study Away participants are automatically in the Travel Registry.  

Do not register if travel is for personal reasons. 

At least 8 weeks prior to departure, register your Global Enrichment Opportunity in the Student International Travel Registration PortalStudents who complete a Travel Registration will be in Jefferson’s Alert Traveler system.
