International Baccalaureate

Thomas Jefferson University awards college credit to students who participate in the International Baccalaureate Program (IB) in high school. In order to earn college credit at the University, students must have completed the honors level of the course with a score of at least 5.

  • The testing/credits will be reviewed for credit award by admissions and the appropriate faculty.

School of Continuing & Professional Studies (SCPS) Policy

Official score reports International Baccalaureate Program (IB) exams should be sent to the School of Continuing and Professional Studies and should be received by the start of the student’s third term of enrollment. The exams will be reviewed for credit award by admissions and the appropriate faculty.

SCPS awards college credit to students who participate in the IB Program in high school. In order to earn college credit at the University, students must have completed the honors level of the course with a score of at least 5.
