What’s New in SMRR! – Last updated 4/25/18

  • Starting on 5/1/18 you will be able to submit requests for dates up to 8/31/2019. Please note that due to the increase volume of requests our response time will temporarily increase from 2-4 business days to 7 business days via email. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
  • EMS Web App is now Available - We are excited to introduce the new EMS Web App to the Jefferson community. The EMS Web App will allow users to be more in-control of the room reservation and event management process. 

    With this new tool you will be able to:
    • View availability of event & academic space on campus
    • Search for space by size, layout capabilities and room features
    • Submit room requests and track the approval process
    • View and email reservation summaries
    • Request AV resources for your event
    • Communicate room setups needed to custodial services
  • EMS Web App Training Sessions - register for a training session on JeffHUB. Sign into Jeff Hub and search for "EMS" under "My Learning" and register for the session you wish to attend. 
  • Solis-Cohen Auditorium in JAH is under construction and will be unavailable until further notice. When renovations are complete the room will no longer be an auditorium and that space will hold a new configuration of rooms. Updates will be posted when available.
  • The 2nd Floor of Curtis will be under construction starting Spring 2018. When renovations are complete a new configuration of rooms will be in that space. Updates will be posted when available.
  • A tent will be on Lubert Plaza starting 5/13/18 through to 5/25/18.
  • Rental Fees Coming Soon – In the upcoming year SMRR will be working to create a pricing plan for room usage. Departments should be prepared to hear more about this in the coming year. We are not able to share any specifics at this time. Communication will be sent out as soon as possible, stay tuned.
