Student Affairs is here to support students throughout their educational careers. There are two offices on campus – one for supporting students in the Jefferson Colleges and one for students of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC).
The Office of Student Affairs assists students from the Jefferson Colleges with academic support services, the student writing center, disability accommodations, and guidance on university policies.
The Office for Student Affairs & Career Counseling (OSACC) is the central support resource throughout a student's medical College career. OSACC is readily available to students as they experience the rigorous curriculum of medical education, providing academic, personal and career counseling.
We connect students through fun, innovative programs, co-curricular and wellness experiences. Orientation programs and matriculation requirements for students of the Jefferson Colleges of Health Professions, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Population Health are also our essential functions.
The Career Development Center is here to assist students, post-docs & alumni of the Jefferson Colleges. We offer help with all aspects of the job search from developing resumes, CVs and cover letters, strengthening interviewing skills, and designing effective job search strategies to evaluating and negotiating job offers.
Career decision making is a complex process, but the Office of Student Affairs and Career Counseling provides guidance, mentoring and resources to help SKMC medical students every step of the way.
