May 14, 2020 Ceremonies

Jefferson - East Falls Campus

Unfortunately, due to the timing of the May 14th ceremony and when Jefferson - East Falls Campus classes end, we are not able to process diplomas in time to receive them at the May 14th ceremonies. All diplomas for Jefferson - East Falls Campus students are available 8-10 weeks after the date of graduation for each semester. Diplomas will be mailed to the address provided by the student on the graduation application, unless otherwise specified by the student. Students may also pick up their diploma in the Jefferson - East Falls Campus Registrar’s Office. To arrange a diploma pickup, please email registrar@philau.edu before the end of your last semester, or enter the Jefferson - East Falls Campus Registrar’s Office address when completing the application for graduation. The address for the Jefferson - East Falls Campus Registrar’s Office is as follows:

Your diploma will be available for pick up immediately following your graduation ceremony. Please remember to bring a photo ID with you to authorize the release of your diploma.

May 20, 2020 Ceremonies

Jefferson - East Falls Campus

Unfortunately, due to the timing of the May 20th ceremony and when Jefferson - East Falls Campus classes end, we are not able to process diplomas in time to receive them at the May 20th ceremonies. All diplomas for Jefferson - East Falls Campus students are available 8-10 weeks after the date of graduation for each semester. Diplomas will be mailed to the address provided by the student on the graduation application, unless otherwise specified by the student. Students may also pick up their diploma in the Jefferson - East Falls Campus Registrar’s Office. Your diploma will be available for pick up immediately following your graduation ceremony. Please remember to bring a photo ID with you to authorize the release of your diploma.

Diplomas will be sent out to Spring graduates who do not attend the ceremony within 10 weeks of the conferral date.

Similarly, diplomas will be sent out to August 31st and December 31st graduates within 10 weeks of the conferral date.

Please note we will not be able to give or send diplomas to students who have holds on their accounts.

Your diploma will be mailed to the address you entered when filling out your graduation application. 

Holds that impact diplomas include: Online Exit Interview & Exit Paperwork (Financial Aid), Tuition hold (Tuition office), Exit Paperwork (Tuition Office).

Students will be notified prior to their graduation date via email about any holds they have on their account and how to have them lifted.

In order to request a reprint of your diploma, The Office of Academic Services requires a notarized letter with the following information:

  1. Your name as you would like it printed on the diploma
  2. The reason why you need a diploma reprint
  3. Your social security number
  4. The date and  year of your graduation
  5. The degree that you graduated with and program (if applicable)
  6. The address where you would like the diploma sent (Diplomas cannot be mailed to P.O. Boxes)
  7. Current phone number
  8. Current email address

Please note, that email requests for diploma reprints will not be accepted.

Along with this letter, there is a $25 fee set for all reprint costs, and checks may be made payable to Thomas Jefferson University.  Please mail both the letter and the check to the following address:

Reprint diploma requests may take up to three weeks for processing.

In order to request a reprint of your diploma, The University Office of the Registrar requires a notarized letter with the following information:

  1. Your name as you would like it printed on the diploma
  2. The reason why you need you need a diploma reprint.  The University will only re-print your MD diploma if it was damaged.  The damaged diploma will need to be returned to the University prior to a new one being issued.  All other diplomas can be reprinted.
  3. Your social security number
  4. The date and year of your graduation
  5. The degree that you graduated with and program (if applicable)
  6. The address where you would like the diploma sent (Diplomas can not be mailed to P.O. Boxes)
  7. Current phone number
  8. Current email address

Please note, that email requests for diploma reprints will not be accepted.

Along with this letter, there is a $90 fee set for all reprint costs, and checks may be made payable to the Jefferson Registrar's Office. Please mail both the letter and the check to the following address:

An outside vendor is contracted by the University to engross these diplomas, so consequently, a reprint diploma can take anywhere from six to nine weeks for completion.
