The Institute of Emerging Health Professions and the Enterprise Office of Diversity, Inclusion & Community Engagement at Jefferson University is pleased to announce a brand new graduate certificate in Healthcare Diversity Leadership starting Fall 2018.

This certificate is designed to meet the professional development needs of those charged with managing or leading diversity initiatives. Interested learners will come from healthcare systems and medical centers, healthcare payors, partner organizations such as medical staffing and supply providers, pharmaceutical companies, community and government organizations that collaborate with healthcare organizations, and consulting/legal groups in the healthcare space.  These students will be prepared to institute change within their organizations and effectively lead that change productively.

Upon completion of the program, students will earn 9 graduate credits. The online portion of the program will take approximately 10 months including 3 intensive weekends. Participants may include administrators in the healthcare industry as well as healthcare related community leaders and faculty members who seek specialized training in diversity management.

The program is led by our Program Director, Dr. Christopher Metzler. Since the start of Dr. Metzler’s career, as a Legal Scholar, he has worked in more than twenty countries providing advice on Geopolitics, emerging markets and related topics. He is now the CEO of Gordium Healthcare, City Place Pharmacy, Next Generation Labs, JMI Consulting, Medicine on Wheels, 911 Urgent Care, FHWFIT and others. IEHP is pleased to have a global thought leader, professor, political analyst, TV personality and the non-Executive Chairman of a global healthcare enterprise as the director of this program.
