Corey Barnette, MBA is the founder and CEO of District Growers, LLC, a licensed full service grower and producer of cannabis, cannabis concentrates and cannabis-infused products. Mr. Barnette is also the owner of Metropolitan Wellness Center, a licensed full service dispensary in Washington DC (collectively, the “Company”). Through Mr. Barnette’s leadership the Company has become known as one of the most capable cannabis growing, production, and dispensing operations in the industry and one of the only ethnic minority-owned and operated vertically integrated medical cannabis operations in the United States. Both District Growers and Metropolitan Wellness were ranked in the top 100 cannabis businesses in the cannabis industry by Cannabis Business Executive Magazine in 2015 and 2016.

David Dinenberg is the founder and CEO of KIND Financial, a financial technology company providing software solutions to ensure businesses within the cannabis industry transact safely, securely, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Over the past 18 years, David has worked in several successful ventures across finance, real estate and entertainment. Prior to KIND, David spent 8 years as the COO and a Partner at Grasso Holdings, a full-service real estate development company, where he ran day-to-day operations for the 45 person organization managing an asset protfolio valued in excess of $400 million. David is a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of successful start-up ventures in the restaurant and entertainment industry including a production company working with a Grammy Award winning singer.
John Hudak, Deputy Director, Brookings Institution
John Hudak, PhD is the Deputy Director of the Center for Effective Public Management at the Brookings Institution and a senior fellow in Governance Studies. His research examines questions of presidential power in the contexts of administration, personnel, and public policy. Additionally, he focuses on campaigns and elections, legislative-executive interaction, and state and federal marijuana policy. John’s work has been recognized for its quality and contribution by the Midwest Political Science Association and the American Political Science Association’s Presidency Research Group. His work has been supported by institutions including the National Science Foundation. John is the author of Marijuana: A Short History (2016, Brookings Institution Press).

Steve DeAngelo is founder and CEO of Harborside Health Center. Richard A. Kimball, Jr., Managing Partner of HExL Advisors
Richard A. Kimball, Jr. is managing partner of HExL Advisors. HExL is transforming the US healthcare system from volume to value. HExL is contributing to this critical and historic shift from the fee for service environment to value based reimbursement through a series of investments, consulting and board positions. Previously, Richard was the Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at Accretive Health, a healthcare technology company, where he was responsible for strategy, business development, sales, marketing, product management and population health. In this role, Richard led the development of a transformation strategy to evolve the company's innovative revenue cycle management business by facilitating deeper patient engagement by hospitals and building the foundation for population health programs. Richard has built a valued network throughout the healthcare business enabling him to execute on high levels. As a trustee of the Brookings Institution, Richard specializes in healthcare policy and is a member of the Audit Committee and the Metropolitan Studies Leadership Council. In addition, he was on the board of the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention in Harlem, New York (local health care distribution), a single member corporation of Memorial Sloane Kettering. Prior to Accretive Health, Richard specialized in the healthcare industry as an investment banker and venture capitalist for over 20 years, working at such Wall Street firms as Morgan Stanley (Managing Director), Goldman Sachs (Director/Partner) and Millennium Technology Partners. At these firms he operated as Co-head of Global Healthcare Investment Banking and Co-head of Healthcare, Consumer and Retail Equity Capital Markets.
Omar Woodard, Executive Director Greenlight Philadelphia
Omar Woodard, MPA is the Executive Director of the GrennLight Fund, Philadelphia. He comes to GreenLight with a decade of experience working in venture philanthropy, management consulting and foreign and U.S. government relations. From 2011-2014 he was a principal at Venture Philanthropy Partners where he co-managed a $20 million portfolio including a $10 million investment from the federal Social Innovation Fund. Widely recognized for his expertise in nonprofit board governance, Omar serves as an advisor and director to the African American Chamber of Commerce of PA, the Girard College Foundation, the Maternity Care Coalition, the Hispance Heritage Foundation and many others. He received a master's degree in public administration with a focus in nonprofit management and governance and a bachelor's degree in international economics and public policy from George Washington University where he was also a Presidential Administrative Fellow. He holds a certificate in nonprofit governance from Harvard Business School. A North Philadelphia native, Omar resides in the Cecil B. Moore neighborhood of the city.
