Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Under OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard employers are responsible for compiling a list of hazardous chemicals used in the facility. Each of the chemicals on the list must have a SDS. This list must be readily available to all workers in their work areas.

This file must be readily available to all workers in their work areas at all times.  Copies of SDS’s should be printed out and kept in a binder.

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) can be accessed by using the TJUH Intranet. Click on the Emergency/Safety tab and you will find the link for MSDSs under important Links. SDSs could also be obtained by searching through the following link: http://hq.msdsonline.com/tjuh3445/Search/Default.aspx.
