Jefferson Center Fitness (JCF) is located on the 18 floor of Jefferson center at 1101 Market Street. This facility, which includes state-of-the-art cardio equipment, strength training machines, and free-weights is exclusively for Jefferson employees. Jefferson Center Fitness is dedicated to creating an inviting and supporting environment where employees can improve their overall health and wellness. 


Monday - Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday: Closed

Jefferson Center Fitness FAQs

When will the facility open?

  • The official opening date in Monday, February 17, 2020
  • The facility will operate at no charge as a free preview from February 17 to March 31 while we continue the process of working out the kinks associated with opening a new facility.
  • During this time, employees with a current, active Jefferson ID badge will be able to utilize the facility at no charge.  A Jefferson ID is required for entrance.

The facility is located on the 18th floor of the Jefferson Center

How much would it be to become a member?

The cost for JCRF - Jefferson Center location only: $234.00 ($9 per pay-deduction)

Are students allowed into the Fitness Center?

No, the fitness facility is only open to Jefferson employees.

How do I register to become a member of the facility?

You may sign up at the front desk of both JRFC locations - either Alumni Hall or at Jefferson Center.

You will have the option of paying in full using Visa/Master credit card, or paying via Payroll Deduction by completing/submitting the online application.

Can I use the facility without being a member?

This is a facility designed for the convenience of our Jefferson staff. Therefore, any Jefferson employee who is not a member may sign in with their Jefferson ID as a “guest.” There is a $10 daily guest fee.

When will Group Exercise classes be offered?

We are going to start slow, offering two lunchtime classes per week beginning in March.  Based on demand and overall popularity, more classes may be offered in the future.

Can I purchase Family Memberships for the JRFC -Jefferson Center location?

No, we will not be offering family memberships for the Jefferson Center location.  This facility is strictly for Jefferson employees with active Jefferson ID’s. Family memberships are still available at the JRFC in Jefferson Alumni Hall.

What are the membership options for both the JRFC -Jefferson Center and the JRFC - Alumni Hall? 

Membership for the Jefferson Center is as follows:

  • Jefferson Center Only: $9/paycheck; $234 yearly.
  • JRFC Membership: $35.42/monthly; $425 yearly.

*This membership will allow access at both facilities for all full-time Jefferson Employees.

How can I pay for my membership?

  • Payroll deduction, this is the preferred method of payment for Center City TJU/TJH/MAH/JUP employees.

This method of payment is unfortunately not available for employees who do not work within those entities.  Jefferson is working to address this issue.

  • And in full via Visa or Master Card credit cards

What amenities will be offered at the JRFC Jefferson Center location?

Every member will have access to daily lockers, showers and limited group exercise classes.  There is also an absolutely stunning view of Philadelphia and New Jersey.  The facility is fully ADA compliant.
