MS Completion Curriculum


The MS in Midwife Completion Program consists of 36 graduate credits:

  • You will receive 24 credits for your certificate in nurse-midwifery/midwifery from a program accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM).
  • You will complete 12 additional graduate-level credits (each are three credit hours) including:
    • Theoretical Foundations
    • Evidence-Based Care: Evaluating Research
    • Introduction to Health Policy
    • One of the following elective choices:
      • Introduction to Administration in the Clinical Setting
      • Introduction to Teaching, Advanced Clinical Practice
      • Issues in Reproductive Health in Developing Nations
