Move In Day

General Move-in Information:

Residents are advised to visit the front desk of the building which they are planning to move into initially. Temporary loading zone permits can be reserved at the front desk on an hourly basis to assist with unloading. Move in packets can also be retrieved at the applicable front desk. During scheduled move-in dates, apartments keys  will be provided with move-in packets.  New residents of the Barringer residence hall who are moving on campus on a non-scheduled move in day,  may be required to visit the Orlowitz Residence to retrieve the apartment key. The Barringer front desk clerk is available to advise each resident as to whether this is required. Please bring a photo ID for move in day.

Loading zone, parking spaces and elevators are available for use on a first come basis, and may not be reserved.

Please review the campus map to identify building location.

• The Martin loading zone is accessible from 11th Street, between Locust and Walnut Streets, and is adjacent to the building entrance. Visit the front desk of the building to obtain a temporary loading zone permit. The permit should be displayed on the dashboard for the duration of your move and must be renewed hourly.
• The Barringer loading zone is accessible from Walnut Street between 9th and 10th Streets. Locate a driveway just before the Wawa convenience store which is located on the first floor of the Barringer Residence. Follow the driveway to the back of the Barringer residence hall and visit the front desk of the building to obtain a temporary loading zone permit. The permit should be displayed on the dashboard for the duration of your move and must be renewed hourly.
• The Orlowitz loading zone is accessible from 10th Street, between Walnut and Locust Streets (on the right in the middle of the block.) The loading area is behind the Orlowitz Residence and adjacent to the Orlowitz residence ramp which leads to the freight elevator. Visit the front desk of the building to obtain a temporary loading zone permit. The permit should be displayed on the dashboard for the duration of your move and must be renewed hourly.
