Abstract Format Instructions

Abstract submissions will open on March 5, 2018.  More information will be available at that time.

  1. Peer Papers - in Progress (300 word maximum) a presentation that shares the early stages/in-progress pilot programs and/or research related to interprofessional education and/or collaborative practice.  Presenters have the opportunity to elicit feedback and foster interactive dialogue.  The session duration is 20 minutes with a 15-minute formal presentation and a 5-minute discussion.  
    Abstract Content for Peer Papers-in Progress, Peer Papers-Completed and Interactive Posters - Research: background/rationale, research questions/objectives/purpose, methods, results/outcomes, conclusions, learning objectives, references, summary paragraph (up to 50 words), optional elevator pitch (140 characters).  Non-Research: background/rationale, objectives/purpose, description, outcomes, conclusions & next steps, learning objectives, references, summary paragraph (up to 50 words), optional elevator pitch (140 characters).
  2. Peer Papers - Completed (300 word maximum) a presentation that shares completed qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods research or pilot programs related to interprofessional education and/or collaborative practice.  The session duration is 20 minutes with a 15-minute formal presentation and a 5-minute discussion. 
  3. Posters (300 word maximum) a presentation using a visual display to showcase interprofessional education and/or collaborative practice programs or research findings. 
  4. Workshops (300 word maximum) a session relevant to interprofessional education and/or collaborative practice which includes a highly interactive activity, generally granting the opportunity for dialogue and networking.  Each workshop will be 60 minutes and requires a highly interactive component (at least 30 minutes of the workshop will be interactive).  Abstract Content: background/rationale, purpose, session description, including plan for interactivity and timeline, learning objectives, references, summary paragrahp (up to 50 words), optional elevator pitch (140 characters).
