Presentation Types & Categories

For your presentation type, please choose Research or Non-Research.

  • Research Focused is work that describes the systematic evaluation of a program/intervention/tool using qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods.
  • Non-Research Focused is work that focuses primarily on the development or implementation of a program/initiative/tool.

Submission Categories

Submissions can be made in the following presentation categories.  Required elements for each category are below.  The body of the abstract (excluding learning objectives and references) can be up to 300 words.  All presentation types require at least one and no more than three learning objectives and references and a 50-word summary.

You are required to specify your preferred presentation format; however, the reviewers will make the final decision regarding presentation format.

Peer Paper - Completed

Each oral presentation will be 20 minutes (15 minutes in length with a 5-minute Question and Answer period at the end of the presentation).

Interactive Workshops

Each workshop will be 60 minutes and requires a highly interactive component (at least 30 minutes of the workshop will be interactive).

Interactive Posters

Posters are displayed for a specific period of time during the conference.  Presenters will  present for 60 minutes as assigned.
