Paolo Fortina, MD, PhD

Professor Paolo Fortina received his MD and PhD in Pediatrics/Hematology from the University of Turin College of Medicine, Italy. He served as a Research Associate, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania College of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. He joined the Department of Medicine, Thomas Jefferson University, Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA, as Professor of Medicine. He was appointed as the Professor and Director of the Jefferson Cancer Genomics Laboratory in 2006.
