Narrative

I was born in Atlanta, growing up just outside of the city. I played college basketball which journeyed me to several universities in the south, finally graduating from Georgia College and State University with a degree in Biology. Following college, I attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After finishing my third year of medical school, I obtained a Master of Public Health with a focus in clinical epidemiology and biostatistics at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health in Chapel Hill. I then returned to Winston Salem, NC to finish my last year of medical school and went on to complete my medical internship at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC. My next move was to Philadelphia to begin my training in radiation oncology at Thomas Jefferson University. In medicine, I am specifically interested in global health, health policy and clinical epidemiology. Additional hobbies of mine include basketball, weight training, and anything active. I also have a true passion for food and am excited to experience the food culture here in Philadelphia.
