The Jefferson Ultrasound Radiology Education Institute courses are available as lectures online with AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Participants can meet regulatory requirements and get the benefit of these acclaimed courses without the time or expense of travel.  Work through the outstanding lectures at your own pace, then complete the process online to get your CME certificate.  Each Series provides CME for 2 individuals at no additional cost, but your entire team can also obtain CME for the course, at just $100 per person.

Online Series Approved for CME

The following Online Series have been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Each Online Series is comprised of lectures given by a varied group of renowned physicians, sonographers and ultrasound technologists.  These Series will expire on December 31, 2022.

The above Online Series each include two Key Codes, allowing two individuals to take the required online testing to obtain AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Additional Key Codes are available from the Institute at $100 each. The Online Series provide a great way for a team to all obtain their CME credits quickly and conveniently, without having to travel or take time away from work.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will I receive the Online Classroom Series?

An email with the link to the videos and the two included Key Codes will be sent to you once we have received your order and full payment.

How long will I have access to the videos?

You will have access to the videos indefinitely, but can obtain CME Credit only until December 31, 2022.

How many Additional Key Codes can be purchased?

You are allowed to purchase an unlimited number of Additional Key Codes once the Online Series has been purchased.

What is a passing grade on the Online Post-Test?

70 or above is a passing grade.

What happens if I don’t pass the Online Post-Test?

You can take the Online Post-Test multiple times as long as you do not complete the Online Evaluation and submit it.

How do you apply for CME credit?

Thomas Jefferson University designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of (*) AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

All faculty at continuing educating activities for nurses, physicians and other health professionals are required to disclose to the audience:

Please note that credits are awarded per course, not per lecture. However, the individual may claim less than the maximum number of credits awarded if he or she spends less than the full time required to complete the activity.

How are the series lectures selected?

The Ultrasound Online Classroom Series is organized by courses which closely parallel the Institute’s actual programs. We select the most outstanding lectures from our live programs at the Jefferson Ultrasound Radiology Education Institute and our annual Leading Edge program and assemble them into a video "course." Each Online Series is comprised of lectures given by a varied group of renowned physicians, sonographers and ultrasound technologists.  This results in a up-to-date and cost-effective educational experience available for your use when and where you need it.
