Future Health Professionals Program
Future Health Professionals Program is a 6-week educational and experiential program for underrepresented minority high school sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in careers in the health professions and medicine. Due to Covid-19 regulations, students will attend sessions virtually for two hours per week from October to Decemeber, 2021. Students who complete the program and meet the program requirements are awarded a Certificate of Completion.

Student participants interact with faculty and develop relationships with Jefferson student mentors to explore careers in medicine, nursing, the health professions (Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Radiological Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies, Medical Laboratory Sciences and Biotechnology, and Couple and Family Therapy), Pharmacy, Population Health, and the Biomedical Sciences. These sessions are designed to prepare participants for future health care careers while also helping students to prepare for their next stage of education.
