Dr. Charles Pohl oversees the University's student life and engagement activities as well as the academic, career and personal support services for the student body. He has oversight of the campus’ humanities strategic design, the student experience in the learning environment and the Jefferson Japan Center. As Vice Provost for Student Affairs, Dr. Pohl is responsible for the medical students’ academic success, professional development and career advising. He's currently a member of the national Group of Student Affairs Committee on Student Affairs for the Association of American Medical Colleges, as well as a board member of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation and chair of its Gold Humanism Honor Society Advisory Council.
