10th Young Investigators Meeting

Thomas Jefferson University
Philadelphia PA

May 17-19, 2017

Young Investigators Meetings are hosted by research leaders in the field of airway and vascular smooth muscle biology in airways disease. The main goal of the meeting is for established respiratory leaders in the field to initiate discussion and offer mentorship to junior investigators, who are typically PhD students and postdoctoral scientists early in their research careers. These meetings are a great forum for young investigators to present their work and build their professional networks in respiratory research. Furthermore, previous meetings have led to 35 review articles being written collaboratively by YIM delegates, published in special issues of Pulmonary Pharmacology and Therapeutics.

The previous meeting in London (held 22nd September – 24th September, 2015) was a smashing success. Many thanks to all who attended the meeting as part of an international family guiding and training the next generation of scientists in this ever expanding field.
