Leadership Opportunities

In recognition that students can benefit from a variety of leadership related experiences at both Jefferson and in the community, we have added this optional Leadership Opportunities component to the program.  These events are not facilitated by Leadership LIVE, however, they have been identified as ones that may provide a interesting perspective or experience to the participant.  A set amount of Leadership Credits to be awarded has been designated for each event.

NOTE: A maximum of two Leadership Credits total will be awarded for this component (e.g. two 1LC events OR one 2LC event).  Participation additional Leadership Opportunities events will not receive Leadership Credits.

Leadership Opportunities Participation Form (Request for Leadership Credit)

Please note that the only opportunities that will be accepted are those listed on this Leadership Opportunities webpage.  A maximum of 2 Leadership Credits (LC) total may be awarded for the Leadership Opportunities component of the Leadership LIVE program (e.g. two 1LC events OR one 2LC event).  Participation in additional Leadership Opportunities events will not receive Leadership Credits. The number of Leadership Credits awarded is pre-designated for each event.

In order to receive Leadership Credit for your participation in one of the approved Leadership Opportunities, the Leadership Opportunities Participation Form must be completed and submitted to the Office of Student Life & Engagement via email at within two weeks of the event date.  Hardcopy forms will not be accepted (to submit electronically you may scan or take a photo of the completed form and include as an attachment on your email).  Submissions not following these procedures will not be awarded Leadership Credit.
