Membership Eligibility: All Members of the Jefferson Community

Membership Dues or Fees: $10.00 ($5.00 per semester)

Description: The Autism Advocacy Group is an interdisciplinary organization that promotes autism awareness on the Jefferson Campus to help students gain an understanding about autism. This organization provides trainings to Jefferson students about individuals with ASD. Other purposes of the Autism Interest Group are to increase interdisciplinary collaboration through having students from multiple colleges involved in the organization and to collaborate with organizations in the community to bring opportunities to Jefferson students for interacting and volunteering with individuals with autism and to learn from these individuals. The final very important goal of this organization is to promote neurodiversity.
