Description: 
NSGA Purpose is to:
• To facilitate communication between students, faculty, alumni and the administration of Thomas Jefferson University nursing programs.
• To provide a forum for student input with a goal of continuous improvement of nursing education.
• To represent the nursing student body and serve as liaison in student interests
• To facilitate the development of professionalism within the nursing student body.
• To promote co-curricular educational experiences and volunteer/community experiences
• To facilitate the development of leadership and managerial skills for nursing students.
• To keep the nursing student body informed of practical, political, and educational issues relevant to the profession of nursing.

Our Mission: We Improve Lives through connection between the four components listed in Thomas Jefferson College of Nursing Philosophy statement: Person, Environment, Health and Nursing.

Our Goals: Our Student Government officers will promote campus activities, enhance morale and the Thomas Jefferson learning experience. We plan to execute learning opportunities by collaborating with professionals in the field of nursing, as well as holding fund raising events for the needs of the campus and student activities. Lastly, we will develop volunteer opportunities and participate in community functions to promote Thomas Jefferson College of Nursing.
