Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Faculty Secure Major NIH Grant Funding

Drs. Lin Guo, Anna Pluciennik, and Zheng Ruan, were each awarded NIH R35 Maximizing Investigators' Research Awards (MIRA) to advance their scientific programs.

Also, Dr. Philip Wedegaertner secured both an NIH R21 exploratory grant and an R35 MIRA award, while Dr. Ya-Ming Hou was awarded an NIH R21 sub-award in support of collaborative research efforts.

These awards reflect the Department's continued growth and research strength.
