The Jefferson Digestive Health Institute offers a full range of clinical services in gastroenterology and hepatology, including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, motility, and liver transplantation. The ambulatory care facilities at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital consist of a newly renovated suite that comprises the outpatient, administrative, and secretarial offices for the academic Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology.

- Congratulations to Dr. David Sass for being installed as President of the Philadelphia County Medical Society on June 27, 2026.
- Congratulations to Dr. Stephanie Moleski and the Jefferson Celiac Center on being recognized as the first and only Celiac Recognized Unit of Excellence (CRUE) in Pennsylvania by the Society for the Study of Celiac Disease (SSCD), a distinction highlighting excellence in celiac disease care, research, and education.
- Home to the Delaware Valley's first adult Fatty Liver Center.
- The Jefferson Viral Hepatitis Center has treated and cured >2,000 hepatitis C infected patients since its inception in 2011.
- Jefferson Liver Transplant Program recognized by Aetna Institute of Excellence for Transplant services.
