Welcome to Thomas Jefferson University and on-campus housing! We are proud of the residential community that the Department of Housing and Residence Life (DHRL) is able to offer you.
Due to the high volume of new incoming students whose move-in date is set for July 15th, the Department of Housing and Residence Life will be sponsoring a major move-in event on Saturday, July 19th from 7:30am – 3:00pm for all new incoming residents. If you are planning on attending this event, please RSVP on Doodle by Monday, July 14th. For this move-in event all students should report to their respective building to check-in, pick up their key, and await instructions from staff. Areas will be designated for unloading near each building and staff will be available for assistance and to ask questions.
The Department of Housing and Residence Life is excited to announce that students can now apply for co-educational housing in our apartment-style buildings (Barringer and Orlowitz) for the 2014-2015 year. Please refer to the new co-educational housing policy for more information.

The Department of Housing & Residence Life provides a living, learning environment that promotes an academic and personal experience for residents. All three residence halls are centrally located on campus. Barringer, Orlowitz and Martin are safe, attractive, and comfortable facilities in an atmosphere that contributes to students' academic success. Living on campus will enhance your Jefferson experience – on campus residents have the opportunity to meet students outside of their academic programs and benefit from the close proximity to classes and the hospital.
In addition to being close to the university and hospital, the residence halls are also located within a short walking distance of many restaurants, stores, transportation centers and other city lankmarks. We look forward to having you on-campus!
Please note that any fraternity or sorority houses have no affiliation with Thomas Jefferson University or the Department of Housing and Residence Life.
