Welcome to Thomas Jefferson University and on-campus housing! We are proud of the residential community that the Department of Housing and Residence Life (DHRL) is able to offer you.

Pinterest recently held a contest at TJU for a residence hall room makeover. One resident was fortunate enough to have her room transformed into something amazing by pinning her ideas to Pinterest. Check out the residence hall room transformation here!

The Department of Housing & Residence Life provides a living, learning environment that promotes an academic and personal experience for residents. All three residence halls are centrally located on campus. Barringer, Orlowitz and Martin are safe, attractive, and comfortable facilities in an atmosphere that contributes to students' academic success. Living on campus will enhance your Jefferson experience – on campus residents have the opportunity to meet students outside of their academic programs and benefit from the close proximity to classes and the hospital.

In addition to being close to the university and hospital, the residence halls are also located within a short walking distance of many restaurants, stores, transportation centers and other city landmarks. We look forward to having you on-campus!

Why I live @ Jeff!

Emily Ott

"I like how close I am to the library and feel safe walking home late after a long night of studying. I also like the close approximation to city nightlife. There is always so much to do within a mile radius of my apartment."

- Emily Ott, second year Doctoral of Physical Therapy student in the College of Health Professions. Class of 2017.
