Basic Research, Education and Resources
The
Department of Pathology, Anatomy and Cell Biology offers
a graduate program (Ph.D.) in Molecular Cell Biology, and
undergraduate courses in pathology, anatomy and cell biology
as part of the M.D. program of the Medical School.
The
basic research in the department encompasses the Alcohol
Research Center and Daniel Baugh Institute for Functional
Genomics. Major resources include a Fluorescence Imaging
facility including two-photon systems; Surface Plasmon Resonance,
Electron Microscopy and NMR facilities are also available
to investigators in the Department in affiliated laboratories.
