Alzheimer’s Association- Delaware Valley Chapter
The Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter helps to provide information on a variety of services and resources available to families and caregivers of those with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

APPRISE Health Insurance Counseling – APPRISE is available to residents of Pennsylvania aged 60 and over to help them with matters concerning their health insurance.

Center in the Park (CIP) – Center in the Park is a senior center service Northwest Philadelphia and the surrounding area. Center in the Park seeks to promote healthy aging through its numerous services and programs.

Delaware Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities – The Delaware Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities provides information about services and resources in Delaware to its residents. 

Liberty Resources – Liberty Resources believes that everyone should live independently, even those with disabilities. Liberty provides support, services, and advocates for the rights of the disabled.

LIFE Programs – The LIFE Programs offered through PACE strive to seek that elders can maintain independence in daily living.

Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly – Little Brothers provides volunteer services such as friendship to decrease loneliness and isolation in the elderly population.  

New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services – The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services site contains information about the various programs and services that New Jersey provides to its aging residents.

Pennsylvania Department of Aging – The Pennsylvania Department of Aging has information on various aspects of aging and resources provided in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) PCA is Philadelphia’s Area Agency on Aging. They provide a variety of services to the older adults of Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Senior Center (PSC) Financial Management Service – This program is offered by PSC to help you pay your bills timely.  (215) 546-5879

Pennsylvania Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) – LIHEAP helps low-income Pennsylvania residents pay their energy bills through grants.

Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) – PACE provides programs for older Pennsylvania residents such as social, medical, and referral services.

SEPTA CCT Connect – Septa’s CTT Connect provides paratransit services to the disabled and seniors.

Suppotive Older Women’s Network (SOWN) – SOWN helps to provide support and services to older women.

National & International

Administration on Aging (AoA) – The Administration on Aging provides older adults and their families a variety of resources centered on aging policy and aging resources.

Alzheimer’s Association – The Alzheimer’s Association provides a plethora of information and resources relating to memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease.

Alzheimer’s Disease Education & Referral Center (ADRER) – ADEAR is a one-stop stop for current information pertaining to Alzheimer’s Disease. The site is comprehensive and provides excellent information.

American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) – The AARP is a one-stop shop for information pertaining to all aspects of retirement. From health to finances the AARP has information covering a wide variety of topics. 

Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interest of the Elderly (CARIE) – Based in Philadelphia CARIE provides a variety of programs and services, and helps to educate communities, professional and individuals about issues affecting older adults.
