Our fully-accredited graduate programs exemplify the tradition of excellence in nursing education practice and research at Thomas Jefferson University.

Jefferson’s outstanding faculty assists students in identifying professional goals, and our challenging curriculum provides the educational framework to meet these goals.

Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Consider Our Advantages

  • Flexible full- and part-time evening options for all programs. Our NP and CNS tracks are designed for the working nurse
  • Part-time study allows students to take up to five years to complete the MSN
  • Full-time study allows students to earn the MSN in 15 months (beginning with the summer semester)

All MSN programs offer:

  • Online or combination online/in-class courses
  • Sixteen hours of clinical experience per week in each clinical course
  • Access resources at Scott Memorial Library, including online journals, textbooks, multimedia and clinical databases
  • Conduct research with faculty, Jefferson Hospital clinicians and program colleagues

Post-MSN Certificate Programs

Post-Master’s Degree Certification is available in all nurse practitioner specialty areas. A minor or Post-Master’s Certificate is available in Nursing Education.

MSN/MPH Dual Degree

Jefferson’s dual master’s degree in Nursing and Public Health, offered in partnership with Jefferson School of Population Health, prepares graduates for leadership positions in public health agencies, community-based programs, population-based research initiatives, global health programs and academic institutions.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

The Doctor of Nursing Practice prepares graduates for scholarly practice as clinical and health systems experts who will lead and inspire health care improvement and reform.
