The MS program starts with the foundations of population health and builds upon it with a focus on the advanced applications of population health science and management. This option contains 10 online courses and a capstone project, which is specifically designed to enhance the student’s career trajectory.
The field of Applied Health Economics & Outcomes Research establishes the efficacy of a product, service or treatment. It compares its effectiveness to other interventions; and considers its incremental cost efficiency to determine optimal clinical application and overall economic value.
The MS program focuses on the advanced application of concepts necessary for the modern practice of AHEOR in research and industry settings. The fully online degree program can be completed in two years, taking just one course at a time.
The AHEOR program allowed me to strengthen my technical capabilities through the application of numerous critical HEOR activities, such as building economic models and conducting claims-based analyses.
