The Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) is the program for healthcare professionals seeking advancement to the top levels of healthcare practice, education and policy.

Experience in-depth, individualized, multidisciplinary training in a comprehensive range of topics including healthcare leadership, teaching and learning, and research skills. The coursework, combined with the program’s mentorship model, supports students’ development as leaders in a burgeoning health professions career landscape.

Interdisciplinary health professions education and practice is the foundation of the DHSc program, with courses from various health disciplines. The breadth of coverage provides students an ideal opportunity for interprofessional study and practice, as well as robust support for a broad range of healthcare research topics.

Innovative course selection. Choose exciting and dynamic courses like Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice in Healthcare; The Psychology of Conflict and Negotiation in Organizations; Foundations in Mind-Body Medicine; Telehealth Connected Care; Quality Improvement through Design among many others.
Interprofessional education and collaborative practice opportunities. Take novel courses on the pedagogy of interprofessional teaching and learning through the Jefferson Center for Interprofessional Practice & Education.
